Challenges
Aquila Capital had different approaches for workplace device installation that were specific to each location worldwide. These various processes, the equipment delivery and installation (PC & mobile devices) were time-intensive for the IT team.
Aquila Capital aimed to improve the efficiency of onboarding desktops into Aquila Capital's Microsoft 365 tenant to achieve compliance and sustainability.
As this project was a fundamental step in the future “IT enterprise Modern Workplace Service Evolution Strategy” and in the establishment of a company-wide holistic approach, Aquila Capital was searching for an experienced implementation partner.
Solution
Aquila Capital chose DIGITALL as a partner for its expertise in implementation of endpoint devices. In collaboration, a company-wide implementation of the Microsoft 365 Intune Autopilot and the Microsoft 365 Intune Apple MDM solutions was realized for the company's current IT infrastructure.
Initially, the Current Mode of Operation (CMO) was assessed, and existing device configurations were identified. Based on this, a concept for the deploying the autopilot solution was elaborated in cooperation with DIGITALL and a selection of components was made.
As part of preparing a proof of concept solution for the automated installation of workplace computers, the Autopilot enrolment policies, the enrolment status pages for Out of Box Experience (OOBE) device enrolment, and the customized application packages for a VPN client have been created.
DIGITALL developed an approach for creating device safety groups for device enrolment, device configuration profiles, and device compliance policies.
In addition, DIGITALL consulted the customer on potential workplace installation processes.
