State-of-the-art infrastructure designed to achieve the business objectives
Challenges
The customer, a bank in the CEE region, was faced with the challenge of ensuring sustainable business continuity while protecting its IT infrastructure simultaneously. The goal was to guarantee company-wide business and IT services even in the event of an emergency. For this purpose, the customer develops a highly available disaster recovery custom infrastructure.
To ensure a secure IT infrastructure, the customer was looking for an experienced partner who had the expertise to evaluate the newly developed infrastructure as part of an audit and to provide independent recommendations for improvements.
Solution
The customer chose DIGITALL as a partner to take over the IT infrastructure assessment. Together they discussed the newly developed hardware platform in detail, conducted the assessment and reached a joint agreement on the functionality of the customer's hardware services and the stability in an emergency.
As part of this project, DIGITALL and the customer conducted assessment workshops, collected data, and developed physical hardware concepts to gain a better understanding of the Current Mode of Operation (CMO). In addition, they conducted an analysis of the vendor documentation, the current setup, and the infrastructure configuration.
Through the concepts of Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO), a business continuity plan has been assessed for compliance with business requirements.
