Challenge

A leading organization in the Financial Services industry aimed to ensure a robust and resilient IT infrastructure that aligns with organizational service and operational standards while supporting business-critical operations and meeting evolving requirements for availability and business continuity.

To support this objective, the organization sought an independent assessment of its existing infrastructure landscape. The goal was to review the current architecture, evaluate its ability to meet High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements, and identify opportunities to strengthen resilience, operational sustainability, and risk mitigation.

In addition, the organization required a detailed understanding of its infrastructure Current Mode of Operation (CMO) to support informed decision-making and establish a structured roadmap for the future evolution of critical IT services.

SOLUTION

DIGITALL conducted a comprehensive assessment of the customer's IT infrastructure and virtualization environment through workshops, technical reviews, data collection, and on-site infrastructure inspections. Particular focus was placed on understanding and documenting the existing Current Mode of Operation across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and backup technologies.

The assessment covered Dell PowerEdge and HPE ProLiant platforms, Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle VM Manager (KVM), Cisco and Brocade networking solutions, and Veeam Backup & Recovery. Through extensive discussions and analysis, DIGITALL and the customer established a shared understanding of the infrastructure CMO and its ability to support business continuity requirements.

As a result, the customer received detailed CMO documentation with a sufficient level of detail to enable informed decision-making across critical IT infrastructure domains. In addition, DIGITALL delivered an independent second-opinion assessment of the infrastructure environment, along with expert recommendations, discussions, and an actionable improvement roadmap focused on platform stability, resilience, Disaster Recovery readiness, and the future evolution of the infrastructure CMO.
