Challenges
As part of its cyber security strategy, the customer, a logistics company in the CEE region, has a strong focus on effectively protecting its software against cyber attacks. To ensure this, the company had to engage a cyber security services provider to perform a penetration test on the web and mobile software before making it available to the public.
The provider had to meet several requirements, including precise communication, extensive expertise in hacking mobile and web applications and creating a detailed technical report that provided clear instructions on how to efficiently implement the recommended configurations.
In addition, it was necessary to carry out a timely and on-demand retesting of the fixed vulnerabilities identified during the initial testing period.
Solution
DIGITALL's penetration testing team of certified cyber security consultants conducted comprehensive assessments and created a detailed technical report for the customer. This report contains all vulnerabilities identified during the test period.
The results from the technical report were discussed in detail in online meetings with the technicians responsible for the customer software. This enabled the customer to resolve the vulnerabilities in a clear and timely manner.
A virtual communication channel was set up to ensure efficient and time-sensitive communication between DIGITALL and customer throughout the project.
New software security configurations were introduced on mobile Android devices to protect user security against cyber attacks. This measure has led to an overall improvement in security for the customer and its users.
