Challenge 

As a fast-growing scale-up with an international expansion strategy, this conversational AI provider was faced with the challenge of making its Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) processes more efficient. Until now, these processes were managed manually, in a fragmented way, and with limited scalability – involving extensive coordination via email and Excel, little real-time transparency, and significant effort during audits and certifications.

A key challenge was handling sensitive customer data in regulated industries such as the financial sector, where strict requirements like GDPR, HIPAA and PCI DSS must be met.

Furthermore, due to budget constraints, ServiceNow needed to be implemented as cost-efficiently as possible - both in terms of licensing and project execution.

Solution 

The introduction of ServiceNow GRC enabled the client to consolidate its fragmented processes and move them onto a scalable platform. The solution automates manual workflows, enables real-time monitoring of risks and compliance controls, and provides an integrated view of all GRC activities.

This not only led to efficiency gains and cost reductions, but also created the foundation for future growth: delivering greater scalability, strengthened compliance across all relevant markets, and the level of security that the provider’s enterprise customers expect.
